Using SmartTracker Without Opening the App
Most of what you do with SmartTracker is checking, not editing, and checking should not need a launch. These three integrations put watched prices on your Home Screen, let you add an item from Safari without leaving the page, and make tracking scriptable from the Shortcuts app.
Which one you want
Each covers a different moment:
- Widgets: you want glanceable information without opening the app.
- Share extension: you are already looking at a product page and want to track it now.
- Siri Shortcuts: you want tracking to happen as part of something else, or on a schedule.
What they have in common
All three read the same local data the app does, so a change in one shows up everywhere. None of them needs an account, and none sends your watched items anywhere. The integration runs on your device against data already stored there.
